We have implemented the wavelet-Galerkin method using six, eight, and ten term, Daubechies wavelet systems with implicit and explicit time differencing applied to three forms of two dimensional wave equation. The wavelet-Galerkin method, as described previously, was applied to a reduced two-dimensional wave equation, the standard two dimensional wave equation, and the symmetric two-dimensional wave equation.
