Due to resource limitations it was not possible to apply the wavelet-Galerkin method with more than ten term Daubechies wavelet systems. For the higher wavelet systems the current codes for the calculation of the four term connection coefficients require a larger system memory than is available on stand alone systems. For this reason, we have developed extensions of the wavelet-Galerkin method that allow the use of higher order wavelet systems and maintain the advantages of the Galerkin method.
