11 years of experience in industry as a software engineer, plus 5 years of work as an MIT co-op student and graduate Teaching Assistant. Background in all areas of computer science and computer engineering from computer hardware, to system software to application software to graphical user interfaces. I have worked with, microcode, assembly code, C, C++, Lisp, Fortran, TCP/IP network protocols, Interprocess Communication mechanisms, Unix RPC, Source Control, SQL, Sybase, Matlab, Motif, X-Windows, and Microsoft Windows. I have used Lisp Machines, IBM PCs (DOS and NT), Macs, the Butterfly parallel processor, the Wavetracer DTC parallel processor, the KSR/Series of parallel processors, and workstations from HP, IBM, SGI, Sony, and Sun (BSD and Solaris).
