The Applied Mathematics Group is organized for the creation of
applied mathematica systems by mathematicians and computer scientists
working in industrial research and development. The products are systems,
integrating algorithms, software and hardware, developed for the solution
of industrial problems. To be cost effective, a solution is assembled,
when possible, from existing open, free software technical libraries
with specific algorithms and specialized modules created by ourselves.
To achieve a specified accuracy, speed and scalability we select and
integrate hardware, algorithms, andsoftware, and can provide long term
customer support and training.
Our range of experience includes
CAD algorithms,
Wavelet and Filter Bank methods,
Fast and Parallel Numerical methods,
Computational Fluid Dynamics and Heat Flow problems.
Recent research and development projects include:
Invariant wavelet theory applied to data compression, denoising
and detection.
Perfect and near perfect filter bank design methods using constrained
optimization.
Global constrained optimization techniques using dynamical system
methods.
Fast wavelet-Galerkin solvers for complex physical systems.
Software and papers from these projects are being made available for
use by ftp from this site.
